My Amazing Bunny!
Well this week has been really busy and full of learning! Bunny has been really into math activities, so we have been working on it almost everyday this week! She has done an amazing job on forming complex numbers, adding with unlimited bead material, and adding with number rods! She is just plowing forward in the math! I have to read up on more presentations! :) She also finally rolled a rug perfectly! Bunny has been working on this for a couple of weeks. She is a perfectionist when it comes to these things and after try after try and a few tears, she did it! I was proud of her, and she was SO happy!Here are some pictures of her working hard!
It's fun to see her working! We are right behind you! The large number cards are Kal-El's favorite thing in the house right now. We are finally ready to plow ahead this upcoming week...he is finally consistent with identifying zero as a placeholder and its position so we can move on. We'll have a lot of new math materials out this week :)

ReplyDeleteBunny seems to be picking up math super fast! I did move her up a bit before I relized we didnt talk about a zero place value. So I threw one at her the other day and it didnt even phase her! She looked at it kinda funny and I started to explaint that a zero means there isnt beads for that. She looked at me and said "I see that". Well I guess, yet again, she is learning faster then me!
I hope Kal- El has as much fun as Bunny! I cant wait to see your post! I love reading your blog since we both seem to have kids that are doing the same things! Thanks for stopping by!
I love that you are using a notebook to record her math:) Is it working for her? Bear loves math too. She's been using the Where's the Cake game a lot this week and practicing her addition facts that way. http://theadventuresofbear.blogspot.com/2011/04/wheres-cake-math-game.html
